The Morbark 40/36 Whole Tree Drum Chipper

The Morbark 40/36 Whole Tree Drum Chipper is a compact and cost-effective chipper designed specifically for the biomass industry. It features the same reliable internal drive found in Morbark horizontal grinders, coupled with an extra-wide infeed opening. The 40/36 chipper efficiently processes brushy tops and limbs, quickly filling chip vans to their legal load capacity.

Morbark’s Advantage 3 Drum ensures consistent chip quality, while the heat-treated AR-450 steel drum skin extends wear life, reducing replacement costs and downtime. Its feed system is optimized with a staggered knife setup, reducing maintenance needs and enhancing efficiency.

This chipper boasts low fuel consumption per ton of chips produced, making it an economical choice. Its compact design, at 8’6” (2.59 m) wide, allows for easy transport without requiring special permits.
